Shams Varsally possesses extensive experience and expertise in the realms of finance and operational management. Holding an MBA degree from Surrey European Management School and recognized as a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in England and Wales, Shams has consistently demonstrated his capabilities across various sectors.
Throughout his tenure at Rogers Capital Technology, Shams has held numerous significant positions, showcasing his versatility and leadership. In his current capacity, Shams plays a vital role in steering the businesses forward, offering strategic insights and operational expertise to drive growth and success.
Dev Hurkoo
Managing Director
With over 20 years in telecom and IT, Dev is the Managing Director at Rogers Capital Technology, leading digital innovation and cybersecurity in Africa. Holding a Supelec degree, he spearheaded transformative projects at Orange Mauritius Telecom, reshaping national broadband and IT infrastructure. As former General Manager of Telecom Plus and Teleservices, he drove advancements in internet and advertising sectors.
Since 2018, Dev has been instrumental in driving fintech and digital transformation at Rogers Capital, influencing national ICT strategies and holding esteemed board positions

Head of Business Development
Dik brings a formidable blend of technical expertise and business acumen to his role as the Head of Business Development at Rogers Capital Technology. Holding an Engineering Degree in Computer Science & Information Systems, Dik couples his profound understanding of technology with a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration & Project Management.
Having a strong experience of 25 years with various professional certifications, his academic prowess underscores his ability to navigate complex technological landscapes while driving strategic initiatives to propel the company’s growth and innovation.
Ashiss Soobhug
Head of Cybersecurity Advisory
Ashiss heads the Cybersecurity Advisory arm of Rogers Capital Technology. He leverages his 17+ years of expertise in Information Technology and a proven track record to drive strategic growth. A seasoned professional with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree, Ashiss played a pivotal role in developing the company’s Network and Security Services and subsequently established Cybersecurity Advisory as a business unit.
He continues to champion Cybersecurity Advisory Services, spearheading business development initiatives locally and in the African region.

Christian, our dynamic Head of Department of Enterprise Infrastructure Services since 2018, graduated from the University of Haute Alsace, France, holding a master’s degree in Electronic, Electro-technic, and Automatic. With over 30 years of active involvement in the IT industry, he fosters collaboration and teamwork within his department, driving innovation and excellence.
As a member of senior management, Christian strategically navigates the technological landscape, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our enterprise infrastructure while inspiring his team to achieve remarkable results.
Reshma Seewoosurrun

Reshma is a certified ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems’ Lead implementer and Lead Auditor at Rogers Capital Technology. With 23+ years in customer service, Reshma holds a B.Com (Hons.) from the University of Delhi, India and a Masters in E-Business from the University of Mauritius. She has a proven track record of implementing innovative solutions to streamline processes, optimize customer interactions and drive business growth. Her commitment to excellence and passion for delivering unparalleled customer experiences has earned her recognition as a dynamic leader in the field. Reshma’s ability to foster strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders has been instrumental in fostering a customer-centric culture within organisations.
